I have a B.A. in English Literature (First Class Honours) from St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, and an M.A. in the same subject from Concordia University in Montreal. Driven by a wide-ranging curiosity, I have written professionally for magazines, newspapers, insurance companies, municipal governments, design blogs, and more since 2012—most recently, a semi-autobiographical half-hour comedy pilot about weed-whacking called The Whippers, which placed as a semi-finalist in the Filmmatic TV Pilot Awards in 2020. Now based in Vancouver, BC, I edit the Hootsuite Blog, where I bring an editorial eye to the science of SEO and produce a web series called Fridge-Worthy.
